Jukka Nyrölä has Master of Laws degrees from the Helsinki University (1968) and from Columbia University, New York (1975). He joined Pöyry in 1976 Jukka has been a member of Pöyry Executive Committee for over 20 years and has a broad international experience in managing large professional organisations. He has also led and supervised financing, legal structuring and acquisition/divesture cases in Europe, North America and Asia. From 1968 to 1976, he worked for the Finnish Government, Finnish Lawyers’ Union and for Shearman & Sterling in New York. After several senior positions in the Pöyry Group, Jukka was appointed in 1991 President of Jaakko Pöyry (Asia-Pacific) Pte Ltd in Singapore. In 1995, he became President of Pöyry Energy Business Group with head office in Zurich. In 2003, Jukka was appointed Executive Vice President of Pöyry Plc and President of the Forest Industry Business Group, the world leader in its field.
