At the request of the European Commission, Pöyry Capital acted as independent trustee and provided an independent report in relation to the sale of Ahlstrom Cores AS, the Sveberg coreboard mill, Norway, to Abzac SA, France. This divestiture was a precondition to the creation of the Sonoco - Alcore joint venture between Sonoco Products Company and Ahlstrom Corporation.
