Pöyry Capital and Ermgassen & Co Collaboration
Pöyry Capital and Ermgassen & Co have entered into a strategic partnership under which they will collaborate on Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance advisory services.
Founded 20 years ago, Pöyry Capital is a sector-focused M&A advisory business, the investment banking arm of AFRY (previously ÅF Pöyry). Reflecting the industry expertise of the AFRY Group, Pöyry Capital provides specialist advice in industrials (notably including pulp, paper & packaging) and energy & infrastructure.
Founded in 1988, Ermgassen & Co is a leading independent European investment banking firm focused on cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance advisory services. The firm has successfully completed more than 300 transactions to date.
Pöyry Capital and Ermgassen & Co are members of the IAIB – International Association of Investment Banks (www.iaib.org).
Sven Leissler is joining Pöyry Capital as Managing Director from Ermgassen & Co. Sven has over 20 years’ experience in cross-border M&A including sell-sides, buy-sides and joint ventures for European blue-chip clients, German mid-cap clients and financial sponsors. Before joining Ermgassen & Co, Sven worked for J.P. Morgan's European Industrials M&A team covering Automotive, Paper & Packaging, Steel and other industrial sectors. Sven’s colleague at Ermgassen & Co, Lukas Vorderegger, is also joining Pöyry Capital as an Associate.
